ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Olivia and I am preparing to start my third year at the University of Lincoln. I love books, history, music, drumming, dogs, my friends, family, studying and baking. My personal aim of creating my blog is to spread awareness about hidden histories, appreciate representations of the past, and share this to everyone!

I am a 2022 East Midlands Regional ambassador for the Holocaust Educational Trust and my aim is to inform our generation (and future generations) of the atrocities many individuals experienced and to make sure that the Holocaust is never forgotten. Furthermore, I am the Chair for Humanities and Heritage's Student's Equality Diversity and Inclusion Committee at my university.

I love most periods of history, but I am excited to share my most enjoyable topics and talk about how history has reflected modern society today. Recently, I have taken an interest with museums and heritage, where my dissertation aims to focus on the representations of Queer identities in Queer Britain UK as a Twenty-first century British Museum space.
